Herbicide

Herbicides are chemicals used in farming and gardening to manage or get rid of undesirable plants, sometimes known as weeds. They are made with the intention of concentrating on and suppressing the growth of undesirable vegetation, so removing competition for scarce resources like water, sunshine, and nutrients from preferred plants. These potent substances affect many physiological systems in plants, which stunts their growth and development. They can be divided into many groups according to how they act. Herbicides can also prevent cell division, which effectively stops the development of weeds.
